Quick Post - Mr. Negative film shop
Good morning from LA,
I was browsing the Discover tab and came across BlueBottles' post featuring the photos they took while visiting the south of France.
I'm a former (not by choice) film photographer, and I looove looking a the beautiful texture of film- I couldn't help but take a peek at what BlueBottles' captured.
They specifically mentioned using up a roll of a film called "Same Same" by the company Analogue Wonderland. The colors it produced are very beautiful, and I love how yellows looked on it. I clicked on the link to the film BlueBottles' provided to take a closer look since I've never heard of either the film nor it's brand before.
"Same Same" is a variant from the company "Mr. Negative" that specializes in film cameras and their accessories.

They carry their signature "Mr. Negative" line, as well as the classic Kodaks, Fujifilms, and Ilfords. They also have some new to me brands like Harman and Yes!Star. The latter particularly looks so gorgeous to me TToTT, I will have to try to grab a roll when I can practically go out again.
I MISS SHOOTING FILM!!!! LOL I actually recently picked up a dream camera of mine, the old Tiger Electronics Pikachu film camera from 1999. I got it in an auction for a nice price and it's in decent condition, at least from the outside. I look forward to shooting a roll with it to see how the built in border looks. You can see examples of developed photos from this camera at Camera Go Camera's post about it: https://cameragocamera.com/2018/12/15/pokemon-35mm-camera/
I actually think I have some film cameras that might have half used rolls in them... I'll have to open up my camera backpack and take stock of what needs to be used and what's empty. I now I have a few rolls of Fujifilm that have been languishing in the freezer door for years now :,3
Thanks for reading!
