Futzing Around Log #2

I have been looking through the options listed on the Bearblog resource list and I'm feeling mega overwhelmed TT__TT
Its unfortunate I don't know coding at all because I don't even understand the terminology. It's something I will have to study but I'm Going Thru It as they say so I'm mostly focusing on just surviving each day.
I did end up adding this markdown toolbar plugin that has been a nice addition! I really want to implement a light/dark mode toggle too but I'm overwhelmed by the foreign concepts and terms so it's making me glaze over the page unfortunately.
I'd also like to add a comments section like I saw on Jedda's post with their light/dark mode code!
I keep looking at peoples bearblogs and thinking "Wow, that's so charming!" or "That's so smart!"... I hope little by little I can chip away at this blog and make a webpage I'll truly love.
I actually want to create a site that mimics the look of an email inbox, replicating the feel of an email newsletter without actually making people sign up for one. I think it would be really cute though.
If anything, I want to focus on making my site as accessible and user friendly as can be. I once was quoted ~$1000 for a design like that. I really should squirrel away funds for that... It would be a big investment so I'll see how things shake out and work with what I can currently.
I also need to reupload my old articles from my time with BAYOG that were lost when the site closed.
mmmmmmmMMMMMMM... much to do and so little brain power to do it :,3
